Henry Brooks became President, Interiors, Actuation, and Propeller Systems (IAPS) in September of 2016 after serving as President, Interiors. Prior to joining Interiors, Brooks served as Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain for UTC Aerospace Systems.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, IAPS is a portfolio business focused on aircraft control, crew and passenger safety, enhanced passenger experience, and efficient payload transport. IAPS has a broad product base including primary and secondary flight controls, aircraft ejection systems, evacuation systems, specialty seating, lighting systems, and cargo systems. IAPS operates in the US, UK, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, India, and Morocco.

Brooks joined Sundstrand in 1985 as an engineer in aerospace operations and held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations, program management, and general management. Brooks left the company in 1992 for 8 years to own and operate a manufacturing company focused on machining, assembly and test of commercial and aerospace products.  Sundstrand was acquired by UTC in 1999. Brooks joined UTC in 2001 as General Manager and held positions of increasing responsibility with Keystone Engineering, Milton Roy, and Sullair Corporation. Brooks brought great value to these businesses from 2001 to 2012, when he ultimately led the divestiture of Sullair Corporation from UTC and placed it with private equity.

Brooks holds an MBA from Northeastern University, and a BS in Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
