Timothy N. White – President, Electric Systems
Tim White was appointed President, Electric Systems, UTC Aerospace Systems in December 2012. He oversees UTC Aerospace Systems’ Electric Systems business based in Rockford, Illinois, which includes the Elektronik Systeme GmbH business (Nordlingen, Germany); Xian AVIC Hamilton Sundstrand Aviation Electric Co., Ltd (Xian, China); and Electromagnetics (eMe) in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
As Rockford site leader, White has responsibility for the site’s multiple business units and functions and plays a central role in cultivating UTC Aerospace Systems’ relationship with the Rockford community.
Since joining UTC Aerospace Systems in 1993, White has held a series of positions including manager of Electric Systems programs for the Lockheed Martin F-35, the Northrop Grumman X-47 and Boeing P-8, and Director, Electric Systems 787 Programs, with responsibility for programs encompassing all derivatives of the Dreamliner.
White was General Manager for Electric Systems, Commercial Systems America, before assuming the position of Director, Electric Systems in August 2012.
White holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Bradley University and an MBA from Regis University.
