As part of a broad array of engagements with universities across the breadth of Collins Aerospace, our Applied Research & Technology researchers partner with university labs and consortia with aligned technology interests. For example, we frequently work with the Operator Performance Laboratory at the University of Iowa to study human-in-the-loop and autonomous vehicle characteristics, including a recent demonstration of live networked joint fires in the multi-domain battlespace.
